Looking to put out some fires with friends? Curve Digital and Muse Games will release their wacky co-op firefighting title Embr next Thursday, September 23 for all major consoles.
A bit over a year after Embr entered Early Access on Steam, players will finally have a chance to see everything the game has to offer in the full release. This chaotic multiplayer title is all about being as crazy as possible, asking you and your friends to put out fires while also rescuing people from the burning buildings โ sometimes by tossing them out a window. With a variety of difficulty settings and level mutators, there’s always something fresh thrown your way to keep things wild and interesting.
The full version of Embr includes a lot of new stuff, such as two new districts that offer a total of 12 levels, a wide selection of new tools and upgrades, and some updated customization options for your firefighter. There are also five new modes you can try out to earn some more cash, including one called Embr Eats, which sees you act as a gig worker to deliver takeout food. You can tackle all of this ridiculously fun mayhem solo or in co-op, and the game allows for cross-play across all consoles except Nintendo Switch.
If all of that sounds good to you, you won’t have to wait much longer to begin your adventure as a firefighter. Embr will be available digitally next week on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $19.99. If you’d prefer a physical copy, though, you can pick that up the following day on PlayStation or Switch for the same price.
