505 Games and One More Level’s popular cyberpunk parkour and action title Ghostrunner is now available natively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X.

The new-gen version of Ghostrunner includes all of the modes released since the game’s initial launch last year, including the fairly recent Wave Mode and Assist Mode, both of which are exactly what they sound like. The move to more powerful consoles also brings a ray tracing fidelity mode, 3D audio, and up to 4K/120 FPS on televisions that support it. Even better, if you’ve already picked the game up on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you can upgrade it to the new version for free to take advantage of all of this.

If you’re uninitiated, Ghostrunner is a fast-paced first-person action title that sees you jumping, climbing, dashing, wall-running, and grappling through a cyberpunk city while also battling aggressive enemies. Both you and the enemies you encounter die in a single hit, making for a challenging and unforgiving experience that expects you to master all of the game’s mechanics in order to proceed. Granted, the aforementioned Assist Mode can ease some of the difficulty should you be seeking a more casual time.

Of course, if you’re among the millions of people still trying to get their hands on Sony and Microsoft’s newest consoles, you can still play Ghostrunner on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC right now, too. Additionally, 505 Games and One More Level recently announced that the game will be receiving a sequel in the future, so wherever you decide to play it, it’s a good time to start catching up.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
