Team17 and Black Matter have released their 50 vs. 50 shooter Hell Let Loose for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X today.
Hell Let Loose, which previously released for PC earlier this year, is a strategic squad-based World War I shooter that takes place across the Western Front. It features two unique modes, Offensive and Warfare, pitting teams of 50 people against one another in chaotic and demanding battles. Players can choose between fourteen different roles, including snipers, engineers, medics, tank crewmen, and more as they make every attempt to help bring their team victory.
This immersive front-line shooter launches today with ten maps and the two aforementioned modes. Offensive mode designates one team as the attacker and the other as the defender for a classic standoff, asking players to put everything they’ve got into either pressuring the opposition or holding them off. Warfare mode, meanwhile, sees both sides pushing against one another equally in an attempt to force them back and secure their territory.
Hell Let Loose features cross-play between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X, ensuring that everyone can play together in its large-scale battles. You can pick it up for either console right now for $39.99, but if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, it’s actually included as one of this month’s free titles, so you can pick it up at no extra charge.
