Indie developer Tomas Sala and publisher Wired Productions are bringing the critically acclaimed aerial combat title The Falconeer to new platforms later this year. The Falconeer: Warrior Edition will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on August 5, nearly a full year after its original release on Xbox and PC.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition will include all current post-launch content for the game – The Kraken, The Hunter and Atun’s Follyas – as well a fresh exclusive content pack titled Edge of the World. In addition, a streamlined prologue should make the beginning of the game far more enjoyable, and some voice-over work has been re-recorded to improve production values.

Meanwhile, though every version of the game will run at a solid 60FPS, PS5 owners will also get some extra features, including native 4K support and support for the DualSense’s haptic feedback.

The DLC pack Edge of the World will grant players access to new locations, story content, side quests, and items. For those who already own the game on an Xbox console or PC, the pack will be released separately at the same time as the Warrior Edition.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition will retail for $29.99 on PS4 and PS5 and $34.99 on Switch when it releases this August.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
