This weekend was the third editions of GG Speedrun’s Pizza Time, a retro stream with a focus on all the classic TMNT games and getting through them as fast as possible. The event also relies on donations and views to raise awareness for World Turtle Day, The American Tortoise Rescue, and the Turtle Foundation.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Speedruns
The Pizza Time event is the third in the line of speedrunners and viewers coming together to enjoy all the classic TMNT games while winning some prizes and raising some money. The donations being raised all go to raising money for World Turtle Day. The American Tortoise Rescue is a group of like-minded people bringing awareness to dangers, in particular, wrought upon sea turtles. There’s also some nifty tricks and changes that we can all keep in mind in our daily life that can help relieve the strain put on our natural oceans. Not all of our turtle friends live in the sewers and eat pizza.

Additionally, GG Speedruns also hinted at their next event, which has now been revealed as being for the game Eagle Island. This speedrunning tournament will be held on the weekend of June 5th. Be sure to check out the announcement, and to sign up for entry if you think you can meet the challenge for a chance at one of the prizes!
