Indie developers on itch.io are showing their support for Palestine by coming together to provide gamers with over 1,000 games for only $5 via the Indie Bundle for Palestine Aid.
All profits from the bundle will be donated directly to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency to continue providing food and emergency assistance to Palestinians in territories where destruction and hunger are at their worst. The humanitarian fundraiser has a contribution goal of $500,000 and allows for larger donations if you’d like to contribute beyond the five buck entry price.
The Indie Bundle for Palestinian Aid has opted to highlight a specific game, Liyla and the Shadows of War, due to its relevancy to crisis at hand. The game was created by Palestinian developer Rasheed Abueideh and centers around a young girl from Gaza. However, in total there are 1,020 games from 865 creators, including such hits as Minit, VVVVVV, Pikuniku, and many more.
The Indie Bundle For Palestinian Aid will run until June 11.
