GG Speedrun’s community is back with another speedrun tournament just after TMNT Pizza Time and there’s yet another good cause to support right along some great speedrunning streams.

As part of Eagle Island Twist’s May 28th release, Screenwave Media Games and GG Speedruns will host an Eagle Island Twist speedrunning competition with a $5000 USD prize pool and an additional $5000 USD charitable donation made to the National Audubon Society on June 5th-6th. If you’re just tuning into the event there’s still time to catch up as well as support the National Audubon Society.

The National Audubon Society

Audubon’s science shows that birds like the Rufous Hummingbird are threatened by climate change.

The National Audobon society is more than a conservation program for birds, it is a safeguard for the Western hemisphere’s great natural heritage for future generations. With a backing in science and educational advocacy, their work is to preserve essential climates and habitats not just for now but for the future. Outside of your activity and contribution to the tournament, you can also find ways to support their work here.
