Developer Metronomik’s action-adventure title No Straight Roads is receiving a Steam release on October 21 after over a year of exclusivity on Epic Games Store on PC.
The official name of the Steam release is No Straight Roads: Encore Edition, and this updated version of the game features a collection of improvements for any new or returning players to appreciate. A new opening cinematic gets things started off, but the game also provides a plethora of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and fresh remixes of songs to jam out to while you play.
Over 500 fans have also been sourced for some new artwork that will be scattered around No Straight Roads‘ setting of Vinyl City. You can search these out as you explore, and they can all be viewed in a completely revamped UI. This UI update comes alongside other cool new features like revamped multiplayer camera control, equipment presets, enhanced visual effects, and the ability to access Zeke’s workshop from anywhere on the map.
Thanks to its myriad of improvements, this upcoming Steam release will be a fantastic buy for anyone who hasn’t had a chance to play No Straight Roads on any other platform. After all, regardless of where it’s played, this quirky musical adventure is a joyous experience that shouldn’t be missed. If you plan to wait for the Encore Edition, though, you can wishlist it on Steam right now.
