RedDeerGames’ adventurous platformer Little Bug has come to Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch today following its original release on Steam back in 2018.
Little Bug has players meet imaginative 8-year-old Nyah on her walk home from school one day when she suddenly finds herself dropped into a dark and hostile fantasy world that she must try to escape. Her new companion, a simple but useful ball of light, assists her on her journey by granting her the ability to jump extra high, swing, destroy obstacles, and even defeat demons she encounters along the way. What follows is a vibrant and colorful adventure filled with dangers and clever platforming challenges.
Little Bug‘s fantasy world is brimming with hard-to-reach areas and secrets to uncover. As Nyah works tirelessly to escape the dreary land in which she’s found herself, she’ll have to collect fragments of her own life in order to piece together her story. Eventually, players will be asked to make tough decisions about which treasures Nyah should keep and which ones to offer to a cat spirit named Roadkill in order to unlock special new levels and fresh challenges.
You can pick up Little Bug right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, and Nintendo Switch. You can also still grab the original Steam release for the low price of $4.99, if you’d like to play it on your PC.
