Dionous Games’ point-and-click adventure game Watch Over Christmas is out today on PC.
Watch Over Christmas is a visually-appealing holiday adventure that clearly hopes to charm adventure game lovers and those who want to make sure Santa keeps his gig going. Indeed, it tells the story of a 12-year-old boy named Cisco, who is told by an unexpected visitor on Christmas Eve that Santa has been abducted. As you can guess, it’s up to Cisco to unravel the mystery and rescue ol’ Saint Nick so that he can resume his yearly rounds and ensure that every child gets their presents.
Watch Over Christmas presents its gameplay in traditional 2D point-and-click trappings, featuring over 60 hand-drawn locations for players to explore as they solve a series of unique puzzles. The team at Dionous Games promises that the game provides a challenge that is suitable for all ages, however, so while you can expect some clever mini-games, this one should ultimately be playable by the whole family.
