Gaming anniversaries often remind us of how old we are, but when these great games come back to mind, they often bring up where our love of the medium comes from. It also tells us how far we’ve come as an industry and community. Below are the major gaming anniversaries coming up in 2022 from 10 years to 40 years.

January

Not a lot of games release in January, but we saw a few JRPG standouts like the underappreciated Final Fantasy XIII-2 10 years ago and Romancing SaGa 30 years ago.
