Developer YiTi Games and publisher Gamera Game have announced that they will launch a crowdfunding campaign for their upcoming pixel puzzle game Mercury Abbey in January.

Mercury Abbey promises a colorful pixel art world to explore filled with anthropomorphic animals. Players will take on the role of main character Harrod, a middle-aged grey wolf who just so happens to also be a novelist. When a curse begins to spread across the land, Harrod finds himself trying to uncover the mystery behind the emergence of “midnight societies and ghostly patrons.”

Mercury Abbey will feature plenty of unique characters with which to interact as Harrod works tirelessly to figure out what’s causing all the ruckus. Along the way, players can round up a wide variety of collectibles, such as notes, photos, and objects that may share hints as to what’s going on. Choosing from a selection of choices will allow the unlocking of achievements, too, for those seeking to see everything the game has to offer.

If any of this sounds up your alley, you can check out the game’s Steam page right now to add it to your wishlist. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the game’s crowdfunding campaign sometime in January.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
