Funktronic Labs’ strategic sci-fi exploration title Nova-111 is coming to Nintendo Switch next Thursday, January 13.

Nova-111 asks you to navigate across three distinct aliens worlds as a small vessel on a mission to fix space-time and round up lost scientists after an experiment goes wrong. As you work diligently to repair the temporal vortex, you’ll engage in turn-based and real-time hybrid combat encounters, solve mind-warping puzzles, and find upgrade modules and fresh abilities to improve your ship and survivability. All of this in the name of science, of course!

Nova-111 was originally released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC way back in 2015, so its move to Switch might seem like a strange decision all this time later. But those who played the original version will likely attest that its creative combat and puzzle mechanics help it stand out as a compelling title worth delving into.

Switch owners will be able to check Nova-111 out for themselves next week when it releases for the affordable price of $9.99. In the meantime, you can go ahead and pre-order it now on the Nintendo eShop.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
