Developer Banana Bird Studios has a unique vision for their upcoming wildlife photography title Beasts of Maravilla Island, and they’ve announced that players can see what they’ve been cooking up this June. Even better, you’ll have the opportunity to decide exactly where you want to play this intriguing new game, as it will be launching on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The concept of Beasts of Maravilla Island is as simple as it initially sounds, casting players as a young photographer who must explore the titular island and its majestic ecosystem. With over 50 creatures inhabiting the island, each with unique behaviors and appearances, there will be no shortage of compelling experiences to be had discovering them and finding out what makes them tick.
A collection of puzzles should also keep things interesting, asking our hero to work together with various animals or possibly even help them overcome a life obstacle. Coupling this with smooth 3D adventure movement, such as running and climbing, it appears that exploring the gorgeous jungles, breathtaking plateaus, and shimmering waterfalls of Maravilla Island will be as exciting as photographing its wildlife.
Beasts of Maravilla Island launches this June for all major platforms.
