If you’re looking for a laid-back Minecraft-esque MMO for Nintendo Switch, you’re in luck because voxel-MMO Trove is finally coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console this summer.

Trove first released on PC back in 2015 and subsequently launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One a year later, so Switch owners aren’t getting a brand new game, but fans of the unique and quirky MMO should nevertheless be excited for a chance to take it on the go. Plus, all of the cool features players have come to expect will make the leap over to the Switch version, including visiting friends’ private worlds and creating your own.

Trove‘s cubic art style and relatively simplistic gameplay are alluring features for youngsters, but the game isn’t strictly designed for kids. The game offers plenty of classes to learn and master and a wide range of trading, crafting, and building options to explore that offer incentive for all ages to dive in and enjoy its colorful, blocky adventure. Player creativity and imagination is a driving force, so if you’re looking for a game that lets you battle monsters with friends while also flexing your building muscles, Trove might be for you.

There’s no definitive release date set for the Switch release of Trove quite yet, but keep a look out for it this summer. In the meantime, the game is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
