If you have a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, you can now pre-order Perp Games’ upcoming narrative-focused adventure title Where the Heart Leads ahead of its release on July 13.
Pre-ordering the game digitally will net you access to an extended soundtrack, but those who prefer to collect physical copies will be delighted to know that Where the Heart Leads is also getting a boxed version on July 16 thanks to a partnership with Armature Studios. This disc-based edition will come packed with some additional physical and digital content, though Perp Games hasn’t announced the full details on what those will be quite yet.
Where the Heart Leads tells the story of a farmer named Whit Anderson who awakens in a strange world where time is twisted beyond his comprehension. It’s there that you’ll have the opportunity to test fate, discover new life choices for Whit, and learn the value of how our actions affect the world around us. The developers promise a 600,000-word script that leads to dozens of endings and hundreds of unique outcomes as you take the farmer through his life from childhood to marriage and beyond.
Where the Heart Leads releases digitally on July 13 and physically on July 16, and though it’s being released for PS4, note that it will be fully backwards compatible on PS5.
