Developer Glowfish Interactive’s debut title Trifox will be launching in 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Trifox is being billed as a classic 3D action-platformer in the same vein as games like Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter. The colorful title evokes the same silly and fun vibes of those beloved experiences, which is instantly obvious when you examine its quirky tale of a fox named – surprise! – Trifox who sets off in pursuit of looters who have stolen his television remote.

Trifox features three playable classes for the titular character – Warrior, Mage, and Engineer – each possessing their own unique abilities. Whether you’re wielding a hammer as a Warrior, flinging magic as a Mage, or busting out a gatling gun as an Engineer, there’s a bit of something for every playstyle. Even better, you can mix and match skills across classes to build the perfect hybrid. And when you’re not using one of our furry friend’s many skills, you’ll be asked to break out your platforming moves to jump over obstacles and pitfalls across the game’s four worlds on your quest to steal back that remote!

Luckily, you don’t have to wait to see what you think of Trifox so far, as there’s already a demo available on Steam. Sadly, there’s no demo for consoles as of yet, but it’s possible one could pop up in the future. If you like the game after testing it out, though, you can also wishlist it on Steam right away.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
