The Good Life, the newest game from Hidetaka Suehiro (better known as SWERY), is now available on all major consoles.
The Good Life is an adventure game that casts players as a photographer named Naomi as she seeks out the secrets of a British town named Rainy Woods, which is known for being “the happiest town in the world.” As she explores the town and tries to unravel all of its mysteries, she’ll have to take on a multitude of unconventional quests and engage with plenty of unique characters. You may even have to take some tasks on while playing as a cat or dog!
There are various types of gameplay required to progress through The Good Life, including everything from taking photographs around the town, cooking up meals, and even farming. There’s also plenty of clothing options to collection and use and a house with a garden, both of which you can use money to renovate. Additionally, everything in the game has a layer of quirkiness to it, so you can be guaranteed that this new SWERY adventure is very much on-brand for the popular developer.
You can grab The Good Life on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC right now. As always, picking the game up on PS4 or Xbox One guarantees you forward compatibility for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series consoles, too, though you won’t be getting any new-gen upgrades in doing so.
