Playtonic Friends and Fabraz’s new platformer Demon Turf will launch on all major platforms next Thursday, November 4.

Demon Turf is a unique 3D platformer with 2D sprites, creating an exceptionally unconventional art style that pops off the screen. It casts players as Beebz, a demon that looks like a little girl, who must fight back against the oppressive Demon King by reclaiming turf throughout the underworld. Her ultimate goal, though, is to claim the throne all for herself, which she can only do by overcoming a huge selection of cleverly designed levels.

This quirky platformer has a variety of fantastic features that set it apart from the crowd. Most notably, players can set up to five checkpoints wherever they choose in a level and teleport between them with a click of a button to help speed up runs or wrap up collectibles. Meanwhile, they can also return to previously beaten levels to explore them in their liberated state, which usually offers a host of mechanical and environmental changes that keep things interesting.

Demon Turf will be available for $24.99 next Thursday on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. While you wait for this intriguing adventure to launch, check out Demon Turf Trials, an expansive demo that pits players around the world against one another on leaderboards.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
