A new patch has provided some much-needed fixes for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on all platforms except Nintendo Switch.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launched with a myriad of issues that range from outrageously comical graphical glitches to downright game-breaking bugs. Following intense fan backlash and poor reception, Rockstar apologized and promised that the trilogy would receive plenty of updates over the next few months to bring it in line with their original vision.

Today’s patch hasn’t addressed every issue with the trilogy of remasters, but a variety of improvements showcase Rockstar’s dedication to fixing things. Most notably, the 1.03 patch removes a bug that would cause rain to appear indoors, fixes a handful of typos, and solves texture corruption problems in San Andreas.

The update has also brought a cinematic camera mode, which can be toggled on and off in the in-game camera settings. This fresh mode provides exactly what it says – more cinematic camera angles to make specific moments more visually impactful.

Rockstar promises Switch players can expect the 1.03 patch at some point in “the coming days”, but the company stopped short of setting a specific release date. The last patch for the game showed up on Switch three days after other platforms, so it’s safe to expect this new one by the weekend.
