Malaysian indie studio Forust has launched its office adventure title The Company Man today for Nintendo Switch.
The Company Man is a traditional-style action-platformer that draws inspiration from none other than the immensely popular TV show The Office. You’ll take on the role of the “coincidentally”-named main character Jim, a young new worker at Good Water Company. When Jim realizes how poorly the company is run, he sets out on an adventure to overthrow the boss and become the new CEO. That’s certainly one way to climb the corporate ladder.
To reach the end of the game, you’ll have to platform your way through seven corporate departments, beat up your coworkers, and ultimately face off against challenging bosses. Of course, you’ll want to make sure that you upgrade your keyboard, which you’ll use to pull off a multitude of attacks based on office themes, such as backhanded comments and email tsunamis. If you’re looking to let off a little steam about your own job, this humorous and visually-appealing romp through the workplace might just be for you.
The Company Man can be bought and downloaded digitally for Switch right now in every region. A physical version of the game is also available in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and most other Southeast Asian markets. It’s planned for release on other consoles at some point later in 2022.
