Developer perelesoq announced their compelling new game Torn Away this week, aiming to delicately tackle a tough period in history from the non-violent perspective of a 10-year-old girl.

Torn Away will place players in the shoes of Asya, who is trying to make her way through part of Europe that has been devastated by the war. After escaping from a labor camp, she must flee through multiple countries in her attempt to find her home and finally earn some semblance of peace in an unrelenting world of chaos.

Asya won’t be able to use violence of any sort, but the team has gone to great lengths to ensure that the gameplay will remain engaging throughout Torn Away. Stealth gameplay takes center stage as Asya evades soldiers, and she’ll be tasked with finding food and shelter as she navigates the ruins of Germany and Poland.

perelesoq promises that Torn Away will feature an emotional tale from a fresh perspective alongside an impactful soundtrack and riveting gameplay. However, it might be a while before we can try it all out for ourselves, as the game isn’t set to release until late 2021 on PC.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
