Akihito Tsukushi’s ever-popular anime and manga series Made in Abyss is receiving a video game adaptation, and it’s coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2022. The news comes from developer Spike Chunsoft, who has revealed that the full name of the game will be Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling.

Spike Chunsoft is billing the game as a 3D action role-playing experience that will follow the general premise of the anime and manga, opting to pick up a few days after young protagonist Riko and her android companion Reg enter the Abyss. Additionally, though, it will receive an original story being watched over closely by Tsukushi. Fans can also rest comfortably knowing that the game will receive fully voiced event scenes with all of the original voice actors from the anime.

Made in Abyss: Binary Falling Star may not be releasing until next year, but look on the bright side โ€“ that gives you plenty of time to catch up on the series as a whole. You can also check out the teaser site for the game, which features a handful of screenshots that might help give you an idea of what to expect when you finally get your hands on this highly-anticipated adaptation.

Billy will always claim he didn't intentionally get the platinum trophy in Snoopy's Grand Adventure, but he's lying.
