Developer miHoYo’s free-to-play open world action RPG, Genshin Impact, has been wildly successful since its release last September, and the team has remained dedicated to expanding and improving upon the game over the past six months. And they’re certainly not done doing so, as this week’s release of version 1.4 aims to make exploring the fictional world of Teyvat even more efficient and enjoyable for both new and returning players.
In addition to more story content to help flesh out the game’s deep and ever-growing narrative, version 1.4 will be introducing quality of life changes, such as allowing players to hold up to five Condensed Resin at one time and granting them the opportunity adjust their World Level across both the single-player and cooperative modes. It will also introduce Rosaria as a 4-star playable character with her helpful access to plenty of elemental damage.
Long-time Genshin Impact players will certainly welcome these updates, but that’s not all miHoYo has planned in this new patch. Indeed, perhaps the biggest new feature is the Windblume Festival, which will give players a chance to engage in a variety of mini-games solo or with friends in an attempt to win prizes, including two exclusive items only available during the event. It will also come bearing some fresh story content of its own that promises to offer multiple endings and some exciting experiences with fan favorite characters Barbara, Chongyun, Noelle, and Bennett.
Genshin Impact‘s 1.4 update will launch on Wednesday, March 17. If you haven’t downloaded the game yet, it’s a great time to do so. It’s available for no cost whatsoever on PS4, PS5, PC, iOS, and Android.
